It may be the slowest base model, but at least it's an automatic

Konis can be rebuilt, shortened, or revalved. External adjustments like on the yellow sport models can be added. They can even be made double adjustable (rebound and compression) for a price. I've only heard of one member that destroyed his (they did not just wear out). I think he was running B&G springs that had lowered his car much more than the advertised 40 mm (around 2.5-3" I thnk). Whatever the situation, the dampers all failed because they were bottomed out so many times. Much more than a 1.5" drop and the Konis should probably be shortened to reduce the chance of bottoming them out.
