    h&r springs

ok i,ve heard everyone saying to use revalved blistiens or konis. what about kyb agx or gr2. the reason i ask is that i am putinng h&r's on my 89 sei and would like to do it only one time and with as little cost as possible.

well, i got tokicos with h&rs and 17s on lowpros. When the road is nice and smooth the ride is super... but when the bumps come the ride goes into uncomfartable and sometimes its not so bareble... So get yourself some good shocks the first time. I went with my setup because i don't have $800 to shell out for suspension... so if you have the $$ do it right...

The AGX would be a good choice, but it is not available for our car. The GR2 is a stock replacement and will not be able to control the stiffer springs. Tokicos are a little better than stock (about 10% stronger damping), but you're still going to have bounce, especially in the front. Unfortunately you can't do it right, once, for cheap. What is your goal: perforrmance, looks, both? The minimum for a decent ride with H&Rs would probably be Tokicos for the back and revalved Bilstiens front (or Konis if you can find them).

    ok guys ,
just got off the phone withH&R and bilstien and neuspeed they say that the hd bilstiens have the same damping rate as the sport model shocks, but the piston lenght on the sports is shorter just to keep them from bottoming out. and they all recommend the hd with H&R.

Again... if you can afford it, get konis or revalved bilsteins for the front, and tokicos or regular bilsteins for the rear. My tokicos are as good as stock bilsteins and the bounce isn't pleasant when the small bumps come... but ill have to live with it as im quite broke and the car only has a few more years to go...
