60 trim?? Wow...
60 trim?? Wow...
The GSX was killed, I need something new...
I cant wait either now that the weather is kinda clearing up from the long winter. Before i was not in a rush as the car was stored for most of the winter but now that im driving it again im dying to get it done. All i can say is it takes time and i have been set on doing a turbo for a while now but now its time and im gonna do it. But the hard thing is if you want it done right it is very costly. So i dont do shortcuts so thats why i dont have an expected date for it to be done and my income varies as i do sidework when i have the time.
hey really nice looking car man, mine has the same paint color. Is your dashboard black with tan interior if so kick ass. Great project man, hope you succeed with it.
Yeah the interior is tan with a black dash as most coupes came with except the 88's. The paint is a bit lighter than the factory color and its metalic as well.
*EDIT* u got some good plans for ur car. i like that.

I do things in steps like one area at a time like the suspension and stereo were done pretty much at one time instead of piecing it together. The motor will be by far the most expensive but i have not even been keeping tabs on it lately because just last summer alone i put over $5k into it. You learn from your mistakes and the amount of money i have had dumped into the three accord coupes i should have one really nice one by now.
So i finally got my ludespeed downpipe and manifold but it was worth the wait. Everything looks really good so next it will go out and get coated soon but i have to put the right T3 flange on it and check the length. I just wanted to test fit it today make sure the angle and everything looked ok since i had to calculate the proper angle for tom to work with since the lude is different. Also shown are the ARP Rod bolts, head bolts and exhaust studs.
Next i will be working on getting the JDM parts from Japan, send out the stock head gasket to Cometic, and send my head to JG Engine Dynamics for the works. After that i will take the bottom end to get cleaned up and have it all checked and the rod bolts installed then i can begin the assembly process. Hopefully all goes well so i can get the rest of the stuff i need to run the B20A.
Looks great Rob, you are doing a kick ass job on that motor. Have to agree with the sig, its definitely getting done right. Oh I sent you a PM earlier, got a few ????? for ya
you car is going to ROCK.
Alex.
It better with all this money going into and im trying to do the exterior body work along with the swap so its gonna bust the bank account but its the only way to do it since i want the engine bay to match. But i still have a lot to do but the motor itself is 85% done so that will be out of the way. Thanks for the comments guys.
that motor looks SICK, but why did you go with white for the valve cover? Seems like its gonna get way too dirty to be worth it. But hey, it looks better then anything i've got so mad props to ya!
Nothin' 2 Old Racing
My friends H22 was white and it stayed nice the whole time he had it. Im gonna do my 2nd B20A blue and see how it looks but the blue i wanted was discontinued. Powdercoated parts clean up real easy and the finish stays smooth so if anything i would just have to wipe it down. I will see how it looks with everything on it. The turbo manifold are gonna get coated so i also want to see how they look when everything is cleaned up(the head included).
any way you do it its gonna look clean as hell. cant wait to see it done and up and running.
Nothin' 2 Old Racing
wow. thats all i got to say.
Jealous.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
Looks good Rob, I hope all the measurements are dead on so you dont have any problems.
'88 LX-i Coupe --- LS/Vtec
'08 Accord EX-L 6-6 --- Daily Duty
All the angles line up proper the only thing im worried about is it looks shorter than my factory downpipe so it may have to be extended. And i have to swap flanges but i was happy he did this for me since he didnt want to but im glad the angles all match because the rest is simple to fix. So when i get some free time i will set up one head with the factory manifold and downpipe and the other with this to see. Then i will change what i have to but it should fit perfect when im done. I cant wait to get this thing going now that i have all the major components here.
what color and were u purchased it at on the valve cover?

Stop bench racing and pick up a wrench
I know my spelling sucks and I suck with computers deal with it.
i'm glad to see this coming along like it is. i give you a lot of credit rob, can't wait to see it done.
-Grant. I'm just a pirate chasing booty.
I cant wait either because if things went as planned i would have been done by now because i tried to buy mike lees complete swap about a year and a half ago but im glad i got the bottem end at least. I had the money to finish the swap this past summer but i didnt have the time and i decided to pay off some debt from my first two years of college. But if things go well it will all come together late spring so i will keep working through the winter.
that is BEAUTIFUL... you are a :pimp:
I like!! That's actually pretty cool with the white valve-cover. The manifold looks like a pretty good piece of work.
Hmmmmmmmm Spring should be VERY INTERESTING!
Rob, what kind of fuel management system are you gonna use? Injectors, fuel pump, etc ...
