I am still looking into where to go and finding out exactly how much it is. I noticed that throught the Uof W here in washington. You have to have a regular course schedule. The cost without living expenses is around 46grand a year and with 4 years. GOOD GOD MAN that alot of money. I did a job search and the average electrical engineer makes about 50-60k a year. I already make that without the degree. I am currently a journeyman electrician with an administrators card. Its either try to run work as a superintendant or the engineers field. Is it possible to go through a specialty school and not have to take general classes? I understand I need to take certain additional classes such as general engineering, math in required areas and such. How much is and has costed you?

Hows the schedule and work load? hows the projected work outlook (is there any jobs available in this field or is it like the rest of the US now)?

    Anything else I should know

About the same pay anywhere. Workload is getting hectic. I'm in for some harder classes though......Calculus 1 and 2, physics 211 and 212 as well as all the chemistry classes, and ewww......more math math math!

New Turbo Pictures (No 56k lots of pics)

Well i just picked up my downpipe and manifold from getting thermal coated and it came out awesome so i did another test fit with the Tial wastegate and stuff and have a few things to do before im done with the turbo kit. I moved the wastegate from where Tom@ludespeed had it cause i had to shorten the downpipe a bit. Here are a few pictures.

Some parts i sand blasted and powder coated.

I got a lot done so far and im still powdercoating parts i sandblasted and ground down all the welds on Justins charge pipes so i should be coating those next week and iv done basically all the brackets and stuff there is on the B20A and even did the whole intake manifold as well. So i made some progress on my winter break from school so its looking good for spring time depending on how this semester at school goes.

If i dont go bankrupt doing it..haha Oh man did some of this stuff take a long time mainly because of the slow sand blasting process. Im trying hard to do it 100% even though im dying to just drive the car. I guess the worst part is im trying to do a lot of exterior work to the car as well (paint/xenon kit etc). But the more i look at what i need to finish the B20A the more i think im going to do the motor first that way i can drill/modify the engine bay before the paint. But then i have to pull it all apart for the body shop but that looks like what im going to do at this point mainly because of the expense and likelyhood of getting that much money by the time i finish the motor.

But it was hard last summer after we did your swap steve i was ready to drop the other stock B20A i had in my car. But i guess my patience is paying off but i know spring is going to be hard when it warms up.

As far as the radiator im going to get a Fluidyne so i can play with that if need be and for the down pipe i spent hours working that out. I had both my B20A engines set up one stock with stock manifold and downpipe and this one. I had to modify this a bit from Toms specs for the prelude.

And believe it or not im gonna try very very hard to include A/C and i know its tight but im going to play around with my A20A3 bracket and compressor to see what i can do. I know im pushing it but if i can get it to work and be setup properly now is the time to try to make it fit.

As far as full coverage goes im going to have to have it appraised but im am definatly doing it because i have more money than i want to know in this thing. I guess the sad thing is iv been working on my cars since as far back as 97 when i had my white coupe until 99 then i started fresh with my other red coupe which just didnt get me anywhere at all. The best thing i ever did was buy this 3rd coupe and start off fresh. But i want to replace my other coupe with another one for a daily driver and to put my other N/A B20A into. And as far as the coatings the guy wont say what he uses but iv seen his setup and its a liquid sprayed on coating baked at high temps and then goes into his awesome $12,000 polisher. The important thing is he guaranteed it for life not to flake or discolor.

    Thanks for all the compliments!
