i'm gonna go shopping for speakers for my 87 ex-i. i was wondering what r the biggest speakers that'll fit int he stock location of the front and rear speakers in my car widout having to modify anything?

6.5" is the largest you can fit.
I have 2 pairs of 6.5" alpine SPS-1729S speakers. for sale. Asking $70 plus shipping for all 4 of them. you can't find good speakers for that price.

yeah, any 6.5 fill fit just fine. you may have to cut the basket that holds the speaker in the front, since aftermarket speakers have bigger magnets, but that is not a problem.

Not ANY... lol... my 5 1/4" Focals just barely fit because the magnet is so big, so watch out with what speakers you try to fit.
