    Door switches

Anyone who's ever had to pull out and clean the little switches in the doorjamb that turn on the dome light knows what a poor design they are on our cars. Honda technicians realized this, too... a little late to include them in our cars, but they were kind enough to make the update backwards compatible.

Go to your local junkyard and find a 4th gen Accord and grab the door switches out of it. The junkyard probably won't charge you much (if any at all) for them and the newer design is not only more durable and operates more smoothly (fewer moving parts) but better looking as well.
