How many miles is on that? Not bad for 3 bills. I seen a crank on ebay. Here is the link if it helps. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=STRK

No problem. I try to help out everyone on here as much as I can with my knowledge and insite of auto mechanics. (working towards my A.S.E. certification) By the way, that crank is a $639.71 dealer item. (crazy)

Not sure on your bottom end re-building expereince. But I'll give some of my advise. Since your replacing the crank, you should replace the connecting rod bearing insirts & crankshaft bearing inserts. Make sure you don't mix up any of the rod caps or crankshaft bearing caps. Hopefully your tolerance on you connecting rods & caps are within specs. Hopefully, if you win that crank, it comes with main bearings. Check the thrust bearing or washer to limit crankshaft end play. If you have a tap the size of the bolts to the connecting rods and crank caps, I would run it through to remove any debris to ensure a nice good torque. Lube all bearings before installing. Turn the crank after installation to make sure there is no binding. If you have a nice STRAIGHT piece of solid flat metal, check the main bearing bore alignment on the block before installing the crank.(that will give you an idea if the block has been overheating and warped & if your crank is going to wear bearings prematurely if it is out of alignment) Of coarse, since you've tore down the engine that far, replace the timing belt and clutch/ re-surface the flywheel !
