knocking turning right

well jus got the damn thing runnin again...... new problem..... never noticed this before when i had it runnin but after i tore everything apart put it back together and got it on the road again.. i noticed a knockin sound when i turn my car to the right.... could i have put something on wrong or lose???? or is it my cv joint goin bad.... i never feel it wobble till i use my breaks..but my rotors calipers and brake pads r all new on the front im at a loss....if its the cv joint i can get one off a friend u had an 87 lxi..... can i use that on my 86 dx? thanx

sounds like your CV joint is bad. The 87 lxi axle should work as long as its the same type of transmission that you have.

I would agree on bad cv joint too. In some cases, you can grab the drive axle and jerk on it to see if there is any play in it (around the cv joint). If there is, your cv joint is going out.
