Did you ever figure out that continuous puff of smoke that looked like a tea pot that was coming out of the one spark plug?
Thinking about getting a new 3g...

I have know idea why it was doing that, it hasn't done it since though and all the fluid level check out, i really think that was just water burning off.

I dunno, it didnt look like it. And it was defnitely some kind of substance (other than water) burning. That plug looked like it was hanging off tho so I bet that was the problem.

Ah. Yet another addition of an 88 DX. Nicely done. Take care of her!

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Not to bad, it idles kinda high and the throttle sticks. Has a leaky exhaust. Not bad for 300 bux though. I'm happy with my purchase.

haha... welcome to the carb world. Adjust the stop throttle screw and give it some carb cleaner. I thought you liked the sound of leaky exhaust ... and yeah, how's your manual driving?

I'm taking it down to steves this weekend to give it a tuning. My manual driving? It's getting there. Let's just say I didn't back into anybody's van yet Don't feel to bad about it, turns out the timing belt snapped and the van was trashed anyway

It's stick. I got about 1 hour of stick driving on the SE-i before I had to rip it apart again, so I'm really learning stick on this car.

Clutch went kaput and the when we we got it all apart two of the bolt holes on the crank were stripped and the bolts were hanging out. Now I have to rip the crank out and replace it.
