Ive looked at the dragstrip times posted by some of the members, but I would like to know if anyone knows how fast a bone stock 89 Accord LX 4DR Automatic would run in the quarter, Iam hoping it runs faster than my Tempo which did a miserable 19.3 albiet it had a bad o2.
yeah mid to low 18's maybe high 18's if you're engines giving out, or the carb hasn't seen a rebuild.
With the vacuum line removal, a good air filter probably mid to low 17's with auto... it depends also on you fuel pump though and your tranny. High 16's with manual trans.
then add Header and exhaust
high 16's auto
mid low 16's manual

i hope to have my sedan running at least mid 16s by the end of summer (exhasut, wires, coil,suspension-not that that adds power), and the hatch running even with that.
Bitesize runs high 16s tho and he has a modded LXi hatch... just a thought.
