    can someon shed some . . .

    light on this.
now as in one of my posts, my pioneer went to crap, so i was gonna trash it.
my dad hooked it up, and like 5 min's later it's start's to smoke, so he seen the part that was smoking, it was an ic, so a newb question . . . .
does anyone know where i can get an ic for a pioneer deh-p3500???
or any guy's/gal's work for a pioneer or radio company or something.

hmm....depends what kind of IC (IC = Intigrated Circuit for those who dont know)

if its an OP-Amp IC its like 0.05 cents...most IC's are really cheap, the thing is how are you going to replace it...

the problem with most boards is that they are manufactured via machienes so the shit is really small and hard to work with....

i would say go to radio shack, u'd be surprised as to how much shit they got lol

find out the IC number and what kind of IC is it, and google up some results about it, should help

and if u get it in right (properly connected/wired) then it should sound just the way it is suppose to

once u get all that done, and got some spare time, u gotta figure out why it burned out in the first place? cuz u dont want that to happen again....

okay i took apart the radio to replace the ic (output amp) once i get the money.
but looking at it i see like these eight metal wire's leaving from the amp to the output connector.

i'm thinking well the amp is basically for the speaker's that does'nt need an amp, i could use me pre-amp output's right??
since those are not amplified( until i get the money to replace the ic).
    right???????

without seeing where the ic is in the circuit i really can't tell you, your best bet is to spend 5 minutes, do a ghetto hook-up and see if she works.

just quickly hook up your amp both B+ and remote to your battery, ground it, hook up the rca's and any speaker to see if it works
