Prelude 5 speed swap?

Hello All,
Will an 84-87 Prelude Si 5 speed tranny fit in an 88 Accord Lxi? Are there any mods
needed?
Are the gear ratio's the same? I want to keep the Lxi gear ratio for highway driving.

no, closer ratios, bigger final drive.

Its not bad for highway use. The lower gears are closer, but 5th is still overdrive so it does fine on the highway. Off hand I don't have the ratios handy, but I think they are in the faq.
