Wink More pictures of my stylin beater

Here is one sexy white/grey/black/maroon ass. I plan to pickup some black bumper paint and just go over the bumpers and trim with it:

Side view, I took off the hubcab's cause they were all cracked and scuffed. You can better see the faded trim and rust:

When I got the car pieces of trim were missing, and some still are, but I took some peices out of the hatch to put in and also it came with no radio or speakers, and everyone knows you need music to drive:

Ghetto speaker install cause I have no pods, if anyone has a set of 6.5's I need them:

And the engine bay, probably the least impressive picture of all:

Haha, it's loud enough as it is, I gotta figure out where that's coming from, I will probably just pull the headers and piping from the hatch. I think all i need to do if I use those headers is weld one of the O2 holes shut, can someone verify that?

You don't have to do anything with the o2 sensor holes. The 86-87 EFI had one o2 sensor. Carb models have one.

if the exhaust sound coming from the engine area, could be a few things.
check to see if the o2 sensor is screwed in, my 86 had came loose for no reason.

or either it's that sucky a.i.r. system.
that sound can eliminated by disconnecting the vacuum hose going to the valve.

I have the front pods from my hatch if you have a hatch or coupe they should fit, I'm not sure if they fit on the sedan but i can test fit them if need be. I'll take the set of rears how much do u want for them?

James you just have to get a plug to block one of the O2 sensors. I have one on my header. When I convert to efi if you dont have a plug by then I could send you mine for like the cost of postage, but I'm sure you will have one by then b/c it won't be awhile.

The only reason the bay looks semi clean is because I hit it with degreaser and wax at the car wash. AC doesn't work, I'm not really sure, but i'd guess the compressor is dead since it doesn't sound like the clutch is engauging when i hit the AC button, I was gonna just pull all the AC out, but I'm lazy and didn't get around to it yet. I have working AC in the SEi and rarely use it.

Cause the hatch is a parts car, it doesn't run anymore. It just sits behind the garage. It's got bad rust in the rear as well, plus it's missing some things now, like tail lights, hood, front bumper, windows, fenders, headlights, misc interior peices, wheels. Kinda important things to have.

I say do some fender flares, flat black it, strip it do nothing, and rally it
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.

I was seriously considering the flat black, but it's a daily family driver so I can't really strip it.

I don't read any tuner mags, to much new shit in there, it's discouraging. I was really just thinking of doing it because i can remove the rust, and weld new pieces in and paint it myself relatively cheap, let's not forget it is a beater.
