Can I intall the tranny without the upper tranny mount?(by the fire wall one)the reason I'm asking is I 'm trying to remove the tranny but the bolts in that mount are too tight to remove so I want to cut the mount off.BTW that mount doesn't seems supporting anything I could move it the my fingers?
That mount is called a dog bone. It prevents the engine from rocking back and forth. If you remove it, it may cause problems for the other mounts as much more stress is put on them.
