    Question DC sports intake??

Ok i have an 88 accord lx, i made the intake thats in it now but its getting crusty and just does not look that great even though it works pretty good. I really like the DC sports DAC intake and I was wondering if any one knows if any of the DAC intakes will fit my car, i know you can mod the AEM for the 92 civic is the DAC for the 92 civic the same deal? any help would be cool as hell!!! here it is on the dc sports site http://www.dcsports.com/DAC.html

Yea you cold probably mod a 92 civic one to work but they are rather expensive to buy from DC sports.

Yeah, DC sports is pretty expensive but they have been around for so long and it is really worth the money to put dc sports in your ride. it is only 169.95 for the dac intake for a 92 civic thats only a few more bucks than the weapon R and a hell of alot better (7-10hp gains), they still make dc sports headers for the 88 accord lxs they have em listed on the site, i was thinking about getting them because pacesetter blows a fatty.

    intake

if i were in your situation and i was thinking about a 92 civic intake and modifying it than i would prolly spend more money and get an AEM, but if you feel like jus putting a good intake on there without any problems i would get the weapon r

nall g i dissagree the weapon r is not that great of an intake and the filters kinda suck. i have looked into it and it seems that the DAC intake has some of the best gains in hp but yeah droping the $ to get the aem has crossed my mind a few times, dc sports has just been 1 of my fav brands since i was not even old enough to drive.

it is throttle body fuel injected, it looks like its carbed but when you take off the top of the pan with the air filter in it has injectors in it.

im really close to saying fuck it and try this intake idea out, i mean its only 169.95 and the weapon R is like 160.00 its worth the extra 9.00 to have a dc sports intake if it works?? and if it does not i know some 1 with a 92 civic i could sell the intake to
