This one is got me puzzled. I'm not sure if it's a quirk with our cars or just an issue with mine. When I go to shift (manual trans, fuel injected) and let off the gas, the RPMs don't fall as fast as they should. (hesitates to drop to idle)
I'm wondering if that is an issue with my accelerator pedal cable or maybe something else.
I was thinking it could be the clutch adjusted in too far, but I have monkeyed with it for quite some time and still no effect (bad or good).
Any suggestions? it makes shifting a pain in the ass because I have to wait for the rpms to drop to a reasonable speed. But that may be because my syncros in the trans are a little worn...
