    "Nightshade"

I've been seeing a lot of you guys using the product, Nightshade to give the blacked-out look. I really like the way this makes a car look, but I've got a couple questions about it.

    1. Just how legal is Nightshade? Seems like it makes it pretty dark, and wondered if it would be visible during the daytime.

    2. Is there any way to get a dark look without being that dark? Maybe the way you appy it, or maybe some other product?

    Thanks in advance.

For legal, it depends how you use it and your state laws.

I don't know for sure, but if you only do one coat instead of layering it maybe it will be lighter? But that's just a guess.

werd. you can get it as dark as you want. but i must warn you, doin only one coat makes it looks like ass. the real color beneath it is still showing and it will look incomplete. it's really easy to do too and a cool mod i thing. just wet sand the tails, apply the nite shade 6-10 inches away. wait till it dries for bout 10 mins and continue to apply until it gets to the shade you want. then spray on clear coat. and the cool thing is you don't even have to remove your tails, just used newspaper and becare to cover the rest of the car up.

vht niteshade can be found at both jegs.com and summitracing.com for 11.99.

If you're worried about the legality of it then just call the local police station, from a payphone if you're paranoid, and ask them if it's legal to do. As far as application, it's easy to do, and looks decent depending on your other mods and your paint color.
