got some bad studs that need to be replaced. is there an easier way than disammbleing the wheel hub
on the front you have to of course take the wheel off,remove the caliper and rotor(makes it easier)and then all you have to do is drive the bad stud from the hub.the rear you have to remove the drum and drive the stud out.there is a hole in the hub that you can use to get the old one out and get the new one in.
Talk is cheap,just do it.
oh yea try not to bend the dust shield in the front our when you put it together and drive it you will get this awful scrubbing noise.

well its not that easy as the front stud hits the bearing carrier
You have to remove the axle nut and move the hub out a bit. Then it will come out. Sorry you had to learn it the hard way.

got the old ones out but had to cut them. with the axle nut loose and the hub pulled out some had to grind the mushroom on one side some to clear the bearing houseing.
