    Power fold mirrors electrical schematic

Anybody got 'em? I'd like to find out if it is possible to wire them into a car alarm or to the accessory line so they automatically close when the alarm is pressed or the car is cut off.

I checked the shop manual and can't seem to find 'em in there.

you can get a set of Type-R JDM Power Folding Mirrors from one of those JDM parts websites, or try searching e-bay; and use (power folding mirrors) as your search phrase.

Kewl. I'm hoping that I can simply use a relay between the fold switch and the mirrors to trigger them to fold inwards when the car is cut off. Shouldn't be a problem.

Gotta wait for my mirrors to arrive, then I can start tinkering with 'em. I'll definitely post any info I have.

I don't know which mirrors you're getting but if they are for our cars then I can tell you that your drivers side mirror, which is considered the passenger side mirror in Japan, will reflect like those blind spot mirrors.... You're going to have to replace the glass with your factory mirror so that it won't seem weird when you drive... Or you can just live with it that way...

i was actually thinking of this, but i was not sure how the curvy mirrorrs would look on our boxy car. I know the JDM 3g came with it but i just did not have enough money to get one before. they were heated too if im sure.

But sabz once ur done, i would love to get all the stuff there is to know about em. would be a cool project none the less.
