it is not the first time newbie can't spell Vtec.

If you want Vtec, you have to drop B series, and that will cost you anywhere from $4000 and Up. The only problem is that the company that used to make B series swap mounts went out of business. So you can't put Vtec into your car.
In other words, you are stuck with a slow ass Accord.

I think no vtec is better... but DOHC is certainly something to aim for.

The esiest way is a motor swap... and it's not that easy.

If you want to look into adding v-tec to the stock motor read the thread below, but don't get your hopes up.

Pretty much you are better off buying the car with the engine allready in it.

Well you can a newer accord that already has a Vtec motor in it. Find someting that has an H22 Vtec motor. Either a prelude 4th or 5th gen or a newer accord.

VTEC, if ya dont know how to spell it, you dont need it yet. and to tell you the truth its kinda over rated. ok, very over rated. the point is, you dont need it. just get a nice cam and do other engine work because VTEC isnt an easy way out to make power!

if your want hte performance of vtec just get a reground camshaft and put that in their. I forget were i read it but it basically stated you can get a new camshaft that would be the same if you hd the vtec turned on all the time. Vtec only switches on at higher rpms and really unless you build up your motor your not going to be able to rev up high enough to make efficiant use of vtec. I'd stick with new cams, headers, p&p, high flow exhaust, and upgraded ignition. that would get you close to what vtec can offer if not better plus it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

Gayest comment ever. I use my VTEC efficiently just about every time I drive the car and it's a completely stock motor.

I have to agree with Steve.
if you don't know what Vtec is or how it works, please don't say anything. That is how bunch of ricers get their information, from people like you.
Vtec is a lot more complicated than you think. it is not just camshafts, it is a lot more.

he has a b16 in his car, of course it's good for vtec. I was trying to go from the angle of the a20's. I was reading that sean doesn't think it good enough to put it on the a20's. I'm glad for the correction, but even still he has a JDM b16....which last i checked kicked some booty.
