    Question Bonnet Scoop Question?

I want to put a bonnet scoop on my car but I am worried for when it rains and all the water will go into my engine bay and come in contact with something electrical and I do not want to but on a fake on kuz I rekon they are crap a serve no purpose.
I was thinking of putting on scoops like on a Lancer EVO 3.
I was thinking of putting them so they are over my radiator that was all water that comes in will run over the radiator.

I'm also interested in putting a scoop on. If you have some sort of filter on it, you should be able to run fine (just like all other cars with scoops).
    Now:

-1988 Honda Accord (to be fixed and sold)
    Soon:
    -some big 4x4 truck
    -91 Acura NSX

custon made a 4Runner hood like darkhonda did. looks clean as hell. or ask A20A1 he has one. I wonder how the subarus run with functional hood scoops. a wire mest would help, but how long would it hold with the wind?

My scoop is held on with large rivets... in some places I used a large thin metal washer to provide a secure hole/base for the rivet.

no problems with the scoop flying off at 125 mph.

I just finished my intake box to collect and hold all the air coming in fom the scoop. I used brass sheet metal for the box and some weather striping to fill in the gaps between the hood.

I also have a stainless steel wire mesh providing some filtering of large objects. but no dust filter for the carb itself... I plan to make one soon though.

    light rain has no effect

ok u guys 29 minuets before I go to pic up my ram air set up pics... cross your fingers and hope they turned out well... I only say this cause the lighting was bad but I didn't want the flash to fck up the pic by making it really bright in one area and not bright enough in other areas... I tried to use soft refected light from the halogen bulbs using a metal sheet. in some pics i usde a secondary semi indirect halogen lighting.
