    Island Parts Car

    I just hooked up a parts car :alc:
    The wreckers around here are assholes ; they wanted $40 for an outer door latch, so I figured screw that; I'll look for a parts car.
    It's getting delivered tomorrow. I'm paying $250 CAD for it, the guy was asking $300. The cool part is that it was an hour away and the guy is bringing it on his car dolly. I'm paying 2hun for the car, which is what I'd hoped to pay; but this way I don't have to f-around looking for a truck and renting a dolly or paying over 2hun for the tow .
    So the POS is actually pretty good;
    87 4dr 5spd Carbed (drk Grey)
    It's got some rust(driverside, rear wheel wells and trunk), but the front fenders and hood are mint.
    All of the glass is good and the seats are ok too. I'll [probably be using the seats to do something like the guys in the furniture thread.
    The brakes and clutch are shot, but the tranny and engine are fine.

    I'm going to be using this thing for parts for my 4dr and the 3G I'll be getting for my sister. After that I'll be shipping it for scrap. So if anyone on vancouver island/lower mainland needs some parts, let me know.
    I guarantee I'll be cheap or free.

    I'll post some pics this weekend
