    auto tranny cooling line?

ok, i'm currently half way through a 5 speed swap, and when i pulled the auto tranny out i noticed that there are ? cooling lines? going from it to below the radiator. what should i do with these? i don't really want to just leave them hanging, but i guess i could if i had to until i have better tools. my tool selection is pretty limited right now, so anything simple would be great

    thanks in advance!

just unclamp them and disconnect them. all you should need is a pair of pliers and maybe something to catch the transmission fluid in.

-edit: need a flathead screwdriver for those clamps, actually (you've got one of those, right?)

Pull the hoses off the radiator and cap off the ends on the radiator where the hose was.

to get my hoses off i had to cut them. even with the clamps off, they wouldn't budge, but a nice little slit with my razor blade helped a lot
