There was a recent thread in here about someone saying that 4th gen accords mirrors are very similar to ours. If i remeber correctly he said all it would take is drill a hole or two. They might have M3 mirrors for 4g's.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the M3 mirrors for 4th gens before, and I definitely have for the 5th gen. Next time I'm at the junkyard I'm gonna get a mirror from a 4th gen and walk down the isle and see if it fits on a 3rd gen

If the base fits all you have to do is drill some holes for the bolts I like the lxi mirrors myself. I painted mine and they look much better.

when i went to go see if they made them for are cars about 3 months ago the guy said that they do not make them for an 89, but he believed that with a little modification that the 90-91 accords would fit. So i am going to do that this summer and when it is done i will post pictures for you and tell you how i did it.

i've fit 4th gen M3 mirrors up against a 3g and it looked really close. all the modification that was needed was trimming off a corner of the mount which you could easily do with a dremel.

If you're interested, my g/f is selling her m3 style mirrors she bought for her 4th gen, but decided she didnt want to put them on after all. PM me if you're interested.

i have the m3 style mirriors on my car the mirrors did have to be shaved down and are custom fited on the car obviously. the inside panel that covered the original mirror wont fit any more but wit slight modificatons u could make that fit again also i had to drill an extra hole in the door for the mirror to bolt up
