    replacement ECU

    Hey guys
I'm looking into getting another ECU, mine throws bogus codes now and then.
So here is the question, my car is a 86 lxi, and as long as I get one from a 86-87 lxi.... should be a bolt in. Right??? Do I need to make sure serial # match??
    Your knowledge is appreciated.

86-87 lxi or 85-87 prelude si will work it doesn't matter trans type, as for the numbers I would try to get the closest to yours , and the prelude is a better choice because it's mounted higher and less chance of having water damange.
