okay, since i've decided to keep her.
i went to this muffler shop i know the guy and he's pretty good with deals and stuff.
well our engines are small so hopefully this won't hurt her performance any.

how's this set-up.
okay 2.25 inch from the back of the cat, with no resonator, and a dual tip less restricted muffler..all of this plus labor for $120.

i took my mom over there to have her muffler put, and there's was a 3g lx-i with a dual chrome tip, and a civic with those fart can mufflers....
my mom thinks i should go with the fart can muffler????!
shocking but no a bad idea......

what do yall think, with my set-up will it affect her in any way??

Sounds like a good plan, but I would get a high flow cat while you're doing this. Check Ebay for them, they're actually just "test pipes" but if you don't have strict emissions in you area, may as well do it.

umm i do.. i did a carb 1/2 vacuum removal mod on my car just in case they sent me a card for emissions..but nothing yet.
plus i will be converting to efi hopefully this year....

sounds like a good deal, it usally cost about 80 for the piping, what about this muffler?

damn i did ask...
but lets see when i had my 86 lx i had the pipe from the back of the cat replaced and a twin tail muffler for about $90.
and the muffler had a lifetime warranty while the pipes had 1 year.

but i seen the one he was gonna put on.
it was on a lx-i in fact...

i kinda figured this would be a good price because they have the factory one already made...but what i'm wanting done they have to do it themselve's and last time they did a damn good job..hell they even did a good job on my moms sable it looks nice.
