    Question CA6 chassis code?

ok, i was lookin at this pic of a info stamp thing. look at it, the place where the chassis code will be says CA6. so is that what the coupes were? interesting if it was because i've never heard that. still a CA though.

Yea but that's weird anyway. I think it was just a spelling mistake by the engineers

I would say CA5. But why would they need your chassis code? Coilovers and spring are the same for all 3g's.

thats interesting. So your car was made in America?!

I thought all 3geez accords were made in Japan minus the 89 SEi that was made in america. hmm learn something I guess.

nope the hatches were made in Japan, the coupes and sedans were made in the USA. Atleast thats the way the 88-89's are. Trust me on this I have one of each sitting in my driveway

If your VIN starts with JHM, it was built in Japan. If it starts with a 1 or 4, it was built in the USA. My Sedan was built in Japan.

my 89 was built 100% in japan.

My vin starts with JHM too.

Learn something new everyday I suppose. Didn't know there were USA built ones before the SEi. I remember my dad not wanting the SEi because it didn't have a factory built in moonroof (it was dealer installed) and it was made in USA. He didn't trust it for some reason lol. Oh well... I love my Lxi.

wow, the newb knows the stuff. i've found more American made 3gee's in the junkyards i go to instead of the Japanese made ones. is that saying something about the Japanese made 3gee's? i dunno. just something i noticed. mine is "J" made.
