Oil idiot light flashing

Yersterdday, the oil light on my Accord started flashing. I pulled over within a mile and checked the oil and it was full. It is also clean since I changed it last week. I then went in to the store, came out and restarted it and it was fine. I drove another 50 miles since then and the oil light hasnt come on since. You think it may just have been a little dirt or something in the oil pressure switch/sending unit or perhaps an omen of things much worse to come soon?

It only has 256k miles on it.... hardly broken in!! LOL

Could be low oil pressure. Does it leak a lot of oil? Could be a clogged oil screen or a failing oil pump.

did you take any sharp turns? if you did, the oil may have moved to one side and that is why your light was flashing.

somtimes the relief valve in the filter housing sticks...
