    Question weird carb acceleration

My Accord 87 A20A1 its been acting weird lately and i want to know if you guys have a clue what it might be cuz i dont. every time i start the car the rpms jump all the way to the 3000 to 3500 i understand in the morning its ok and th car is supppoust to do it but lately its been doing it every time i start it, even when its fully hot. i turn it on and i have to wait 2 or 3 minutes for the rpms to go back to normal first i tought the choke geting stuck but i already checked it out and its working fine. i have no idea what its wrong with it and any input will help a lot.
    thanks

maybe a vacuum line is deteriorated? i know the lines will mess with all sorts of things depending on which one it might be. i know with mine, i have to let it warm up if i leave it for very long. like how long are you leaving it and then starting it up again? has the weather changed any? like is it colder lately? if its not a vacuum line, then i guess the other guys can suggest something.
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™

Is your coolant the right water / coolant mixture for the current weather conditions... also is the coolant level full?

The same thing is happening to mine. Doesn't last quite as long though. More like a minute and a half. I just topped off the coolant about a week ago.
