Aerodeck Exclusive Edition - I'm proud to join the aerodeck club

Got it from Germany just this evening. It's from march 1989, has black leather interior in as close to perfect condition as it gets, had 1 owner and 111k miles. I found two very small rust spots on it, 1)at the left rear fender 2)and on the tailgate + a small dent under the vent door trim but that should be easy to get fixed. The right armrest holder thing in the back is missing and the back seat is not mounted correctly. Oh and the rear honda badge is missing. That's about the flaws i found so far here in the dark.
I paid 800 euro (1075 dollars) for it, which is damn cheap for it's condition.

    Beware, it's a little dirty.

Yea, the engine and engine bay is real dirty but it runs good.

Just curious, why would you want the gauge cluster?

it's in KM/H only... throws us yanks off... well, the ones not familiar with metrics...

BTW... is it just me, or does that aerodeck look more like a sports car than the US hatch?

Thanks guys, but stop bashing the engine he he

I'll get some day time pics of the car today after I give it a good scrub and clean.
To correct myself I have to say that it only has 1 rustspot, and thats on the rear fender. The spot on the tailgate was just dirt that looked like rust in the dark. I dont think it's ever been taken out in the winter, it's in an incredible condition.

Oh, and one more thing. The headlights wont retract, only open. I checked the fuses, they're ok. Is it the control unit or what could the issue be?

It was the retractor switch that caused the lights not to go down. Need to get a new one.
A bit blurry daytime pictures after a good scrub and clean, and i waxed the seats:

are you sure that its an 89? it looks to be 86 or 87 because of the front bumper and the molding... Are those stock corners? i think you should drop it(like its hot ) put some coil overs on that thing!

The hatchbacks used the same front bumper from 86-89. It was the 86-87 style. That's probably true of the Aerodecks as well. That thing looks so hot. It needs a drop and new wheels tho. I love it!

In Europe, the 3g's feature the same bumper style throughout all years.
However the Aerodeck's has a small lip on the front bumper. It's gonna get dropped like it's haawt.
The corners are stock. That's how they look in Europe.

What, the Fiat? It's pimp! Lol
It's just cold here that's why there's dew on the car. The winter is coming.

Correct. And yea, 17" inch rims, a drop and a fart can will set it off real good. But it will get stored for the winter. And it looks like it's been stored for the winter all it's life.

Very nice looking leather for that age especially. Awesome deal. But for the love of all things human and sane, CLEAN THAT ENGINE BAY! lol. Simple green works wonders. Overall, nice investment.

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Yes I agree with everyone else the leather seats look good. Makes me want to go find a old Sei in the junkyard now. You got a pretty good deal on that car man.

Thanks. The leather is the original from the factory. Only made with leather in '89 in a limited production. So it's in a pretty good shape.
