    Tranny Bit the dust maybe

On my way to work yesterday the tranny started slipping really badly, like I would be goin down the road and it would act as if it was shifting into N, and just rev freely. It stopped for a few miles then got even worse and had to coast it to the side of the road. I put my hazards on and pushed it a little, then restarted it and it drove fine but ended up parking it for fear it wouldn't get me back home. SO what do you think, tourqe (sp) converter gone bad maybeż

Actually torque convertor is rarely the culprit.
U may feel tranny slipping @ certain gear, b/c each gear got its own clutch.
So can u tell which gear u were in when slipping ?
Then in 1st there is this one way clutch which engage only when revs higher than car speed, otherwise feels like "N" as u said. But thats another prob. with 1-2nd shift valve not engaging..
Try a flush 1st, the least u can do..
