Nice, but I've heard that drilled rotors have a tendency to warp pretty quickly...

    where did you hear that?

That price is about the same as two brand new front brembo blanks, in fact even cheaper. I think its worth a shot, but I don't see anything about saying they will warp faster. There are only stories of the rotors cracking easier since there have been rumors that the cheap rotors just had holes drilled and sold as crossdrilled rotors. Let us know how it goes with those rotors.

be sure to get new pads to maximize the use of the rotors.

isnt nissin the same shit the car came with? i think some ceramic pads would work good. they have them up at the parts stores. the EBC ones are good too. semi-metalic will probley get eaten up quick. i need new rotors also. my right side front rotor is warped a bit.

I think AEM brake pads are great choice with those rotors. my next setup is brembo blanks and aem ceramic brake pads.

well, just don't expect to see too much of a difference in braking just from the rotors.
i'd go for Hawk brake pads.

oh my god you bought cheap rotors. those rotors are made by some dude in a shop. i hope you have enough money to by regular set of rotors, bacause this ones will crack under heavy braking.

well, i know what u mean. i bought the car with warped rotors and drove on those for 6 months b4 i replaced it with slotted and x-drilled ones.
if u bought imitation ones like alex said, it will crack under heavy braking.

if you do the search on google, you won't find any info about Magnum brand. it will lead you to ebay only. It can only tell you one thing, they are cheap.

yea they are cheap, you get what you pay for. My brakes cost me $500 and I never looked back.
Going from 60-0mph in 190' to 125' is priceless.

well in any case, tell us how they work after you have them on. i wanted to get some nice rotors. probley just slotted. i would like to put something bigger and better, but of course i'd have to fabricate stuff like the caliper mounts and stuff. that'd be nice, but i'd rather buy some kit. i remember someone here made them for their 3gee. ah, but with bigger rotors i couldnt run my 13's once in a while like i like to do sometimes.

I got a set of rotors for my wifes Asrtro van from a different guy on e-bay. Drilled and slotted, zink plated. They show no signs of wear even after a coupl months of driving.
I did some research before installing them, the best combo with drilled slotted rotors is carbon metallic pads. Ceramic pads are TOO harsh for these types of rotors. A good semi metallic is also o.k. And you do have to "break them in"
I'm going to get a set for the accord from him, $100 shipped for the set.

I've got Slotted Brembo rotors on the front of my civic with Axxis pads, help stop her in a pinch. People wonder why I spend money on premo brakes and tires, but realize that those 4 tires are your only contact to the pavement and your brakes are your primary safety device in avoiding an accident.
