    Block heater ?

    Is it supposed to make niose when pluged in?
    Stop bench racing and pick up a wrench

    I know my spelling sucks and I suck with computers deal with it.

    It should make a quiet noise... sometimes hard to hear... but shouldn't make a loud noise.

    Check your coolant level b/c maybe the heater isn't sealed completely and its boiling out some coolant.

    Check that area when its plugged in. You might need a flash light and a mirror.
