    ooooo, that's why.

hi my name's ty, i'm from nashville, tn. i joined last year...then moved to solsociety forums for a long while...then came back. there's alot of info to be had here. great site.
i dun wanna list all of the cars at my house. but i own three and a half of them. the fast one is the celica, the cool one is the sol for sure. then there's the 3g, that one's just clean. the 4g accord is still busted.
i'm a musician, play guitar and sing. and do concerts mostly on weekends. yesterday morning was a live tele show in illinois, but i didn't make it home cause of weather. i'm snowed in at a hotel in southeastern kentucky right now, but they've got highspeed internet.
i would've posted here earlier if i had realized how important procedure was. i was wondering why people kept punkin on me and then someone said something about the intro forum and how important it was. and "...ooooo, that's why."

yeah, i like the celica. no mods yet and the thing still flies. if i could stiffen it up suspension and body wise and get some better rubber on it...o man. the only hugehugehuge bummer is the cloth top. not that it doesn't work, cause it's fine, no leaks, not much noise. ...i'm just not fond of cloth tops, that's all.
it's sweet though...overpowered, nice. though i wish there were more enthusiast websites (maybe i haven't found them yet dunno) for the celicas. i'd like to take that as a project. cause the 3g is not a racing base. it's made for fuel efficiency and reliability. the celica is a good racing base.
    merry christmas yall

    sweet, ppl from my area!
hey, does this intro forum allow pics to be posted? cause i've tried and it's not working...i've only got afew shots of the 3g and sol anyways. the pics of other cars will come later. the 4g accord lx is a royal crapbox (that has major electrical issues) and almost is embarrassing to post pics of. i just sold the sol recently but i've got afew pics left (my parents wiped the rest i think). the celica is my mom's (that's why i say i own half of it, she never drives) (o, while i'm here i must say...i feel like never driving my cars again, my parents get all of the cool cars. and they'll frequently pay for the gas too. my 3g doesn't even have heat, and it's freakin single digits outside. just...what's the point?), the infinity is my dad's, and i wouldn't have listed it except that it's japanese, so i felt obligated. we also just got rid of a chevy 350, and there's also a chrysler T&C...that pulls a big white trailer. ...and then the friends come over and try to park their cars...see what i mean by car lot? it's nuts.
nice to see there's people from my area. it might not be the same as with the delsol forums, but are there enough people in certain areas to have meets? not that i have anything impressive anymore, my sol's gone. but i like to see what other guys have done.

ahhh, there we go, i was trying to post them as [image] http://www... [/image]. that's why. o, and afew of the sol shots are from the dealer in texas (so this was before i got the chance to fix it up...it looked nicer). but here we are. this is all i've got right now:

i can't get the straight pic post...all i've got is links. hope this works out. hey, if yall don't mind...explain once and for all how to do this...(and i've read the newb pic post how-to stickys that the admn have posted, but somehow this isn't helping w/ the whole cardomain.com obstacle...)
good night to all. may your cops have wooden legs.

*edit* - oh, and i can't find a full engine bay shot...but that's a pic of the intake i made (it originally was cai, but at the time i had it shortened for the wet season), isn't it cool? all it was was alumnized steel exhaust piping (mandrel bent 180degrees) from JCwhitney and some rubber sleeves and stuff from home depot. you just cut up the pipe as per your dimensions in your car, and paint the whole thing over w/ ceramic (heat resistant) engine enamel. and then put the racing filter on the tip (underneath your bumper). this is the site i got the how-to from: http://www.teamdelsol.com
