I've got 2.5 drop in front, and 2.25 in back. 16 inch wheels, with 205/40/16 tires. Never rubs, and I at times have all three of my kids in the back. Totally stuffs, but does not rub at all. :alc:

With a 3" drop you're likely to destroy any shock that isn't shortened by bottoming them out over almost any bump. You may want to consider a more conservative drop.

It don't matter how many inches you drop it. It isn't going to be any easier getting your springs out. You need a coil spring compressor to squeeze the spring when you remove it. I've heard people doing without one, but that is your call. I like safety myself. You can rent one at auto parts store if you don't have one. There will be camber issues if you go lower than 1 1/2". You will need prelude control arms or camber kit if you go lower than 2". (not excatly sure).

I like the white rims BTW. Make sure they are 4x100 bolt pattern.

*edit* I didn't understand what you where asking.
I don't think that 2" drop would effect the shocks/ struts from bottoming out.

dude my friend removed one without a coil spring compresser and almost lost his head and put a big dent in his finder. If you like your use compressers, you can rent them for cheap and some auto stores will even let you rent them for free.

The drop doesn't have much to do with the difficulty of swapping the springs.

You're less likely to bottom out the shock if you car is lowered less than about 2". The stiffer springs that are available for lowering that much tend to be so stiff that you'll have a floaty, bouncy ride since most shocks are not strong enough to handle them. Are you lowering for looks or performance?

Make sure your getting a 4x100 bolt pattern. Don't need all that drama of shipping back over mis-understanding over a stupid ad.
