    OverHeating!!

Ok, MY car has been overheating lately!! I swapped thrmostat and waterpump!! On start up the it sometimes runs really rough-runny really rich or on 3 cylinders. After i swapped the pump it heated up and would not circulate-so pulled the 2nd brand new thrmo out and ran none and everything is fine until it heats up again and has little coolant in raditor. Seems to smoking alota but doesnt smell like anything other than fuel. Compression seems to be fine. I have 180 in all but one. Number 3 has 150 but a healy core is in that cylinder and does not put the plug all the way into the cylinder!!! I can find no leaking from anywhere and my belt sqeals. The belt is new and tight also. If anyone has any info please help me!! Thanks

Did you bleed the air out of the system? This needs to be done or you can get an air pocket that can cause overheating.

yes beed the system it will cause overheating and irregular idle, I have both fans hooked to a togle switch so I can just turn them on when ever I feel.
my car is stock it just likes sittn lower to the ground than most cars:

I did bleed the system-I think its my head gasket!! Im losing coolant at a fast rate and fing anywhere it is going!!! If it ends up being alot of money i might end up selling the b16 intake manifold. It is pre drilled for the 3rd gen and comes with everything. The Map, TPS, Gsr tb, fuel rail and wiring for sensors. For a little extra i will sell my h22 injectors with it!!

WHy do you spend the money and put a head gasket into it. The gasket is only 30 here in canada. And it is a easy job.

well if he warped the head etc then he has a lot more to worry about.

hey i wont be able to afford it until my next check, but i will give you 250 for everything as long as it included the intake manifold modded to fit, and all other parts i will need. - a bolt on - if you will...

let me know if you can wait a week thats when i get paid, hopefully i can work it out then

The header has a small crack so i would let go for like 100 bucks!! The car never overheated!! It just would heat up!! I would add coolant before it got too hot! So i doubt the head is warped!! I also work alot and have very little time to work on the car!! I have alot of stock parts if any body needs anything!! I also have an MSD 6a box and Autometer A/f gauge!! Someone can even my exhaust!! doesnt matter to me!! Any questions on any part-Let me know!!!
