    What brand is yours????

    PLUS...its not the wattage that matters...its the dB...higher the better... everytime the wattage is doubled add 3 dB...so for example...lets say you have an 86dB sub sensitivity...at 1 watt you get 86dB
    2=89,
    4=92,
    8=95,
    16=98,
    32=101,
    64=104,
    128=107,
    256=110,
    512=113...
    now lets say you have a 93dB sub...
    1=93,
    2=96,
    4=99,
    8=102,
    16=105,
    32=108,
    64=111,
    128=114,
    256=117,
    512=120...
    so as you can see the higher dB makes for a BETTER sub....so the Memphis may only have 400 watts max...but it will kill an 86dB sub anyday....

    I think what you meant to say is that the higher dB makes for a LOUDER sub.......louder is not always better man!

    aight lets put it this way....if you want an amazing sub for SQ (sound quality) then the memphis Studio Sub is you ticket...they have the hard hitting comp subs if you want to pay $500 per...but the ST124 hits amazingly...and it will hit hard if you want it to...so for anyone who wants memphis and KNOWS how good memphis is...then this post is for them...

    87pimpsterdocious...I know exactly what each means...the Memphis ST124 has only 87dB so it makes for amazing sound quality...

    Your brand sub is prolly...im gonna guess prolly something like focal, crossfire, or Image.
