yeah, i had daryll put one together for me with an '89 teg and an accord tranny i brought him (actually 2 accord trannys).

so yeah, the flywheel in combination with the shorter gearing should be fun.

okay this hybrid tranny has long gone in the talks on the forum can someone give me a quick info of what teg gears you run (its a 1st gen teg) but what are the gears u change. also is there anyway to lower the 5th gear ratio on our cars by any chance? cause i want one with a lower ratio for the 5th. thanks

that flywheel looks good, how heavy is that and how much?

i have teg gears 1-4, accord 5th. you can use the entire integra gearbox it bolts to the accord bellhousing (on a side note the teg gearbox has a filler bolt on the top! yay!).

the flywheel is 8 pounds i've been told but i havn't weighed it. $380-something plus shipping. you want part number 103208-11.

8lbs??? damn nah im good. ill get my flywheel resurfaced. not in the mood to run lightened flywheel. but it does look cool tho.

i wanna do custom gear ratio for the 5th gear, so i hope someone can make it somehow.

strugglebucket: you mean the teg gearbox bolts to the accord block you mean?

no, the gearbox bolts to the accord bellhousing. i mean gearbox as in the casing; the other half of the tranny.

you should be able to use almost any honda gear for fifth that you want. you just might have to shim it a little.

    p.s. what's wrong with 8lbs? scared?
