    Question b16, b18 , b20

    is there some sort of system of which im not aware of. i see all over the forums thing like B20a and A16 and etc. could any one brief me on this.

    They're different engines. For example the engine found in our Accrods is the A20. "A", being the series, and "20" the displacement (2.0L). Someone else could probably elaborate on this and explain it a bit better.

    nah you pretty much summed it up silver. the number is just liter displacement and if you read enough about hondas and learn up on them you'll get the general idea. like b18c1 is like the b is the engine series and 18 is 1.8 liters and c1 is just sub series. that's they way honda organizes. if you keep reading up you'll know some b series has vtec, k series current using "i-vtec." some engine code doesn't have the liter displacement number. etc. you'll know which one is jdm and usdm. but there are tons of them soo ya.
