Actually come to think about it I heard that Dupont is currently designing a better version of R134a and their plans are to replace R134a by with this superior coolant by regulating it like they did years ago with R12. What they did was they releashed R134a and then they regulated R12 so that R134a would be more easy to come by. I dont know who true it is but it wouldnt surprise me

I went by walmart and there is a mountain of 134a, it's not going anywhere. they are even starting to put it in freezers and stuff.
