    *sigh*window problems again!

Well, I was rolling my window down today(power windows) and the driver side came off track. So I get home and pull the door panel and attempt to get it back on track. Well, I think I have it back on there, but it is all the way up and will not roll down. I refuse to leave it like this because I just got them working last week. I've tried hitting the switch and forcing the window down with no avail. Any suggestions someone could give will be much appreciated!

when you hit the switch down can you hear the motor trying to move it or no? whatever the case is id take the door panel off and just carefully look over everything that is near the track..if theres nothing stopping it maybe check the wiring?

i dunno..im just trying to help...

i just went through this stuff and its very annoying...its probably wedged in there somehow to where the motor cant pull it. do you get any play out of the window if you shake it around? you're gonna have to actually take the window off the bar its sitting on (its bolted in two spots, but the window has to be at half mast to get to them) and put it back in the track. its hard but it can be done by yourself. let me know how your progress is going, we'll be able to get it on there right trust me

Well, after 6 hours, a pack of smokes and a couple beers I got it figured out. I ended up pulling everything out, and I found out that the rear bolt that holds the window on the track popped off which must have caused the whole thing to begin with. Also, I was missing 2 bolts that secure the motor to the door, and noticed that the motor would shift in and out while rolling up and down. SO now everything is bolted up nice and tight, freshly lubed and should be trouble free for awhile. Thanks for the responses guys.
