I put a CRX chin spoiler on the back of my car...

    ... and I did.

I went to the junkyard and got 2 more chin spoilers and made a rear valence looking thing. Looks good if you ask me. My wife has the digicam and is out of town until Wednesday. I'll post pics then.

You'll be shocked... It looks kinda natural when incorporated with the CRX lip on the front. I did this mod thinking that it would look goofy but actually it turned out really nice. My wife will be back with the digicam in a couple of days. The second I get a hold of it, I will post pics.

I have 2 extra long straight middle CRX pieces left over from my project. I'm thinking side skirts next.

BTW, I pulled a 1st gen Integra lip spoiler as well when I was at the junkyard. It fits the front of our cars perfectly except that the sides are too long. Theoretically, you could just cut the ends off and you could bolt the thing right on without trying to mold anything together since it is one big piece. I really need the camera right now....

Hey accordlx you just wana make me a body kit while your at it? you can customize however you want, just as long as it looks good. You can even put it on my car at the columbus meet if ya want to. I'll pay ya for it. All the junkyards around here are pretty much domestic, unles I wana drive 40 minutes or an hour for the 2 closest import junkyards in the area.
My Lug bolts require more torque than your car produces :P

    hey accordlx

It's funny b/c I just went to the j/y on tues. and picked up a 1st gen lip, and you're right, they are almost perfect. But the one that I got, seems like it needs to be extended about 1in. in the front to make it fit. There were two styles of the 1st gen 'Teg, the 86-87 and 88-89. Mine was off an 86-87, it seems though that yours was off the 88-89. There was an 88-89 there, but the nose was buried in the mud, and I couldn't get the damn lip off.

    Is yours the 88-89?

    Joe,

We need to meet up after you get settled back in at OSU. It's a damn shame we have never actually met. 2 mods that are in the same city 9 months out of the year.

    That's a shame.
