sound dampening material

hey, you're all probably gonna think i'm crazy, but i was thinking about taking out the back seats (i have a hatch) and all of the other rear interior stuff, and putting in some durable sound dampening mats so i wouldn't get too much road noise. I was thinking it would look/feel a little sportier then. but my question is this: Where do i get enough of that material? I looked on JCWhitney, but it was like 25 bucks for like 10 square feet plus shipping. Is there somewhere cheaper?

nope, that stuff is expensive no matter where you get it. It's heavy too so keep that in mind.
