    Pics of a 3g sittin on 18's?

    Hey whats going on fella's?
I'm a newbie here and joining the club of 3geez owners...
I was wondering if anyone here has some pictures of a 3g with a set of 18" wheels...The reason is a friend of mine is giving me a nice pair of 18" from his ride and I don't know what they will look like on my ride...I have already done some research on what to do about lowering and the problems I will encounter with the 18" But my question is: How will they look??
So any pictures would be great
    and thanx in advance...

welcome to the site. although i'd strongly suggest you NOT put 18's on, its really up to you. Ride quality will go down the drain and tires are expen$ive.

do a search for user marioburke. he has 18's on his car and it looks pretty good.

I think they look dumb on such a small vehicle, they probably won't fit if they are from a different vehicle. ON top of the extremely high price of tires for them they just aren't that great. I have 16"s for the summer and they look big enough and have a great ride that makes it so you don't have to dodge every bump in the road, only the huge ones.

The crappy part is most of the wheels i like are only available in 18's. I want the 5zigen Copse multi-piece in white but they only come in 18's. Im sure they are probably heavy also but i really like the look of them. Im considering them if i end up going to shows with my car.

I wouldnt run 18's to drive on because i can only speculate how much harder they ride with a 35 series tire, nevermind the fact of how much the tires run.

i dont think so automatically.. it just has to be tasteful man and not gaudy and unmatching. I remember tk's car.... he had 18's on it and it was looking good.

these days i'm getting grown and i feel like big chrome wheels dont always make a car look good. So you gotta chose right.

You also might look at the bolt pattern, i think your in for alot of work to get those on a 3 gee IMO.

They make them in 4x100 im just worried about the offset being 45 i think. Granted these are expensive wheels and have to be ordered from Japan but i think this is really what i want. But i probably would pull them off until shows if i ever did get them. Its kinda going the opposite direction and im not feeling running a 35-series tire.

If i do get them it wont be for a while since body/interior and a more practical set of wheels will come first.
