    92 teg in diassary......warning for 56k

So my friend Christine approached me about some problems her car has been having. i looked under the hood and started to cry. heres the deal
    b18a1 with 220k
need[ed] valve cover gasket, splugs wires,
needs head gasket, rotors, pads, front left half axle, headlight corners, body work,
the valve cover gasket was leaking .....and upon removal found it was caked with tar looking oil....however it wasnt any where inside the vavle area....it was just on the gasket so that was good.
other then leaking oil and some other flaws the engine, cams, valves and general engine condition looked GREAT for 220k

spent a few hours under the hood, and some new parts and man did she fire nicely.
    NGK plugs
    ACCELL 8mm plug wires
    new valve cover gasket

the old plug wires......do you see a problem?

    and the pretty new plugs...

no pics of the oil tar....but ill post pics of the before and after for rust and corner lights when we order them. one ofthe corners is shatttered and there is some classic honda wheel well rust. ebay/online for parts then some body work and she'll be great

I already know it's slow. No need for a dyno to confirm.

seriously. i dont know why you did that instead of your a20. everybody knows that 20's with a flipped carb lid and 3.5" straight through piping, not cat and cherry bomb muffler tip are the best mods for our car.
esp. the straight pipe. i mean...who needs back pressure on a N/A motor????

that was one thing i would always worry about when changing out spark wires that fit inside the valve cover. that they'd break off or something. that'd suck if you didnt need to put on a new valve cover gasket. didnt you say it needed a head gasket? did you also put a new one on? i'd be willing to bet the timing belts never been changed.
