89 lxi, i had the radio out. prev owner had wires here and there mostly cut off. wipers used to park, now, just stop wherever i turn them off. i could live with this, but would rather see them go back where they belong. i looked at all the fuses, but nothing is evident.
it would be nice if it were as simple as a fuse though. any suggestions?
change the winshield wiper motor with a good one, there is a position switch inside the wiper motor transmission case that tells it when the wipers are returned to park, it its fuct or messed up somehow that what happens. If that doesnt fix it youll have to sort out these cut up wires.

Sometimes it just needs a little reminder though. Try unplugging the WW motor for about 30 seconds and see if it goes back to normal; if not you will need to replace the motor.
