    my car threw up

while i was getting my NC state inspection i watched the guy pull my car up into the garage, as he stepped on the gas i saw a large amount of fluid come pouring out from under the hood and i was like WTF!!! my car has never done this...so i look under the hood and i notice around the area that my fuel filter(and that other cylinder thing) its all wet. i check the hoses but didnt notice any cracks or leaks and i have no clue what caused this. also right after that happened whenever i let my car idle i can smell something burning, smells like rubber burning but i dunno. the liquid that came out wasnt oily, it was a cloudy kind of water substance. im thinkin my car threw up some coolant? but i dont know where from...

Check that coolant level, maybe a small hole in a coolant hose?

Cylinder? Do you mean the Brake Booster / Master cylinder? or The Charcoal cannister?

Where is the fuel filter for LX-I

If it's on the drivers side it Sounds like the water pump might be going out...

Fuel filter is on firewall passenger side. Kinda close to the heater core hoses. Check them and the water valve for leaks.
