HELP on ignition box hook up!!

I did a search and found nothing. IN the how to all I got was the red x. I bought a mallory 6A which is basically the same as the MSD. Most of the wires are self-explanatory. But I need to know where the white trigger wire and the yellow wire hook up to. The wires on the Mallory are:

Heavy red: battery positive

Heavy black: chassis ground

Small red: 12 volt ignition key source

Orange: (+) coil

Small Black: (-) coil

White Trigger Wire: to trigger control ( this is the questionable wire?)

Yellow: tachometer (not sure about this one either)

Any help would be appreciated.

do they make them specifically for our cars or is it all universal?

there are no specific ones for our cars.
you can get MSD 6A, Crane Hi-6 (i highly recomend, i had it and it is the best on the market). and there are many more you can adopt to work on our cars. you just need to look for universal ones.

So how do thay help, do thay help with stock head and bottom end or is this somthing you add after a motor/head overhall to help with tuneing?? I have no idea what these do.

Orange: (+) coil

Small Black: (-) coil

White Trigger Wire: to trigger control <<< this should be a magnetic pickup, either from the distrib or the crank angle sensor

Yellow: tachometer <<< probably for the stock coil wires, the blue honda ones


do you have a model #? 6a sounds like MSD to me

Got it wired today. Thanks for the wire diagram A20A1. The Mallory VI-A ignition has a red l.e.d. light that shows it has a correct trigger source.

POS carb I have the small red wire hooked to the Blk/Yel, this is a key source. And I didn't use the Yellow tach wire.
