    Purchasing MDF

my question is really simple, yet i've searched and nothing came up that answered it. what places carry mdf so you can build a box or speaker pod. i've seen a tutorial kind of thing to make a speaker pod, but i can't find where you can purchase mdf for your own application. i searched on home depot, but that turned up squat. anyways, thanks for any 2 cents you might be able to throw in.

you should be able to pickup MDF at any hardware/lumber store. its a pretty common material. I find it hard to believe Home Depot doenst carry it.

Just go to the actual store Home Depot and ask. They will have it or order it for you.

home depots here carry it in 1/2 and 3/4" thickness. 3/4 is very strong, if you have a disgustingly loud sub/amp combo you can always brace it internally with a 2x4
look for the bookshelves area (or ask) cuz you can get them in the giant 4x8 foot sheets or in smaller shelf style boards
