    water/hose route

i searched thru other posts, evreryone has something different
to say about cleaning cooling system. . .

i heard water run thru the hose that leads to the thermostat first,
    is that true???

accords have the thermostat at end of top hose.
integras have therostat at end of bottom hose.

i just want to clean the entire system when i put in a new radiator.
the old radiator is full of rust.

so the rust runs thru and i want to clean it out good
so rust doesn't run back into the new radiator.

i was thinking of unpluggin the bottom hose so the clean water
runs thru the car as the car is on and the water picks up the old
rust in the engine and spills thru the bottom hose onto the floor.

just flush it, get the kit and just flush the system.

if you've got time, take off the water pump and scoop all the gunk out. there's a lot of sludge that stays trapped in that area even after a flush.

I would recommend using Hot water and just squirt it through all of the hoses and especially through the heater core since they usually trap alot of dirt. Make sure to keep the heater controls to on and hot since if you don't the valve for the heater will be closed. I would just take off the thermostat and squirt water through the hole.
